Context study
The National Model Design Code, published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government in January 2021, defines a context study as: ‘A mapping exercise detailing spatial information about the area surrounding a site. A suggested list of information that could be included is provided within the context section of Guidance Note: Code Content.’
